Requirements for Eligibility for Assistance:

Applicant’s and their equine(s) must reside within Central Oregon.
Applicant’s equine(s) must be personal equine; no professional or amateur equine breeders may apply.
Applicant consents to a potential site visit from agents of Equine Community Resources.
ECR may take pictures for documentation and publicity purposes.
ECR is no longer able to offer removal of deceased equines. Local recourses can be found by clicking the button below:

Documentation required for eligibility:

If the situation is due to loss of income from termination of employment or reduction of work hours, ECR may require applicant to provide an employer contact who can confirm this, or provide a written confirmation from the contact.
If the situation is due to a medical situation or owing to a factor not listed above, ECR may require applicant to submit relevant confirmation.
